What is called Grappa in Italy is called Marc in France.
*Excerpt
Marc is a type of brandy made from the grape pomace that is produced when making wine, and in Burgundy, producers of the world's finest wines, such as Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, and in Bordeaux, Château Mouton Rothschild, produce high-quality Marc.
I purchased this from Wine Shop Fujii, who always takes care of me. Wine Shop Fujii is unusual for a local liquor store, and I am always grateful for their polite customer service and explanations, which are always informative!
By the way, I have never used it, but you can drink wine by the glass while standing. I would like to try it someday.
