Bar Moderno, where the number of foreign guests visiting for tourism has been increasing recently.
By the way, I can’t speak any foreign languages at all.

It seems that they are coming to the store for JAZZ.
Bar Moderno has only a few of the records that are played in so-called JAZZ BARs and JAZZ CAFE.

We have a lot of Brazilian jazz from the 60’s, so we spin jazz that you don’t usually hear.

I definitely want Japanese people to feel the passion of these hot Brazilian musicians.

Scarlet Peach Amaro from Iseya Shuzo in Kanagawa Prefecture has arrived.

The image of the Italian-born liqueur “Amaro” is similar to Campari.
Unlike peach liqueur, it does not use any fragrances or additives, and is a bottle packed with the deliciousness of bitterness.

This is a poster I recently acquired.
After all, printed materials on paper are good.

Bar Modelo, which opened in 2016, will be 8 years old on October 11th. Thank you for your continued patronage!

The other day, I went to the Top of Prince on the 28th floor of the Sapporo Prince Hotel, where I trained. The French restaurant Trianon will be closing in the future, and the bar will be reduced in size, so I looked back on the memorable space. More than anything, I believe that working here has allowed me to put hospitality into practice at the current Modelo.

I had the “Occasion,” a cocktail that won the runner-up prize at the 7th HBA/KOKUBU Cocktail Competition held in November 2019.
Both were delicious with wonderful shaking.

I often took commemorative photos of customers in front of Jean-Pierre Cassigneul. I also took a commemorative photo at the end.

Recently, Modelo has also had many guests from overseas, so we offer photo shooting services in front of the speakers.

The other day, I went camping at Hakkensan Winery and felt the beginning of autumn.

Fine is a nostalgic magazine!
Now it’s a magazine for adults!
For me, who used to do a little magazine work (in photography), print media is an important presence. I sympathize with the idea of evolving while maintaining the basics with the times.

Hokkaido has suddenly become autumnal.
It’s chilly in the mornings, and I need a jacket for my scooter commute.

Our September holidays will be on Mondays, our regular closing day.

We will be changing our business hours starting this month.

Due to many requests from customers, we will be opening at 8:00 PM! Please enjoy Calvados and records after your meal. Of course, we also offer classic cocktails and wine by the glass in addition to Calvados.

Starting this month, we will also be serving omelet rice earlier in the evening.
The spicy curry, which used to be a secret menu item, is now a regular item.
Currently, it is beef tendon curry.

The closing time is 3:00 AM.
