I will occasionally write about records.
One of the types of music that I love is what is called JAZZBOSSA or JAZZSAMBA, but there is also the opposite way of saying it. I don’t know the original way to say it… Among them, there is the keyword Brazilian Rare Groove, and I also have records that I call this on my own. About 30 years ago, the two records in the photo were records I longed for and knew about from information, but I had never seen or heard them, and they were records from an unknown world.
ANTONIO ADOLFO was available at FACE Record for a cheap price, with a note in the comments section that it had needle skipping. It had needle skipping, but it was still in the thousands of yen range, and the jacket was cool, so I bought it immediately. When I got home, I tried my luck with a pin and successfully eliminated the needle skipping, and although there is some noise, it doesn’t bother me too much.

The other record, Dom Salvador, had scratches and a lot of popping sounds, so I used a toothpick and managed to reduce them to some extent, which was a great success! Now, it’s a record that you don’t see very often, so I had a wonderful encounter, and I’m listening to it after fixing it, so I’m attached to it. I don’t recommend the way I fixed it, but I enjoy records with my own maintenance.
If I feel like it, I’ll share my own way of cleaning records…
Both records have cloudy discs as shown in the photos, but they can be listened to normally and have a thick sound, so please send in your requests.
If there are no other customers, I’ll play it at full volume.
We will be participating in the UI Marche again this year!
I have been participating since the UI Share Atelier was held around 2018, and it is an important time for Susukino Bar Modelo to expand its local connections.

This time, Modelo will be selling juice for children only and Sapporo Classic draft beer for adults only.
*If you drink and drive or drive with a hangover, you will no longer be able to enjoy that refreshing taste and aroma in your life! Yakuza behavior is absolutely not allowed, of course, cool adult behavior is allowed.
We were not sure if we could do it this time, but we were able to set up a DJ booth on short notice, so each selector will be doing a little bit of production.

Our bar deals in unique liquors that are not available elsewhere, so we do not offer cafe services.
Recently, we have had several customers who only order coffee (it is fine if you have it with alcohol or as a final coffee), but ordering it is a unilateral imposition on the customer’s part, and there is no consideration for the bar, so we refuse to serve you at our bar. (We are still a bar, so we have non-alcoholic cocktails.) We ask that you understand the difficulty of running a small business in Susukino, and thank you for your patronage.

Enjoying Hokkaido’s short summer!
I went camping for the first time in my life last year.
I think many people born in Hokkaido have been familiar with it since they were young, but I’m from Kanto and I’ve always longed for camping, but I couldn’t go because of time and work…
My daughter is now in elementary school and I have a little more time and leeway, so I’m hoping to go three times this year!
By the way, I’ve already been swimming in the sea this year!

JAZZ with Vinyl Records!! JAZZ MODERNO
We have restarted the event that was held when Moderno opened! It’s irregular, but this is the 6th time.
Booking young?! selectors in their 30s and 40s from Bar Moderno. By the way, it’s rare to play JAZZ on records on a regular basis, aside from Jamaica, Bossa, and 81, which are long-established jazz cafes and jazz bars in the Susukino area… Recently, foreign guests who come for sightseeing or work have been visiting. Moreover, there are no shops that spin in a DJ style, one song at a time… If there are any, please let me know, I’ll go!!
By the way, this is not an event for jazz collectors or record collectors.
